I’ve been travelling to Benalmádena every winter for the past 5 years and spend a lot of time in coffee shops writing and working from my laptop. I noticed right away that Benalmádena doesn’t have the same culture of remote workers taking over coffee shops like some other cities. In fact, most coffee shops don’t offer Wifi and I’ve even encountered one that allows you to access the internet but only for 30 minutes.
That being said, I still think Benalmádena is an incredible place for remote workers. It just takes a little more effort to find the best coffee shops to work in. After testing countless cafes over the years, here is my list of the best coffee shops in Benalmádena for remote workers. I’m sure this list will continue to grow but these are my current go-to cafes.
Meeting Point Café
Meeting Point Café in Benalmádena is hands down my top pick for best cafes to work from in Benalmádena. Not only is the vibe and decor awesome, there’s plenty of seating and the staff are all super friendly.
The best part (for me anyways) is that they open at 7am. A cafe opening this early in Benalmádena is quite rare so I was thrilled to have found Meeting Point. The best part about going to this coffee shop early in the morning is that there are only a few people there. It’s a great time to get work done and I don’t feel bad taking up a table.
Throughout the day, and especially on the weekends, Meeting Point can become quite busy. I always make sure I’m paying attention to how busy it is so I don’t take up a table for too long if they need it. That’s why I highly recommend going early in the morning.

Clásica Café Arroyo de La Miel
I was so excited to find Clásica Café on my last trip to Benalmádena and I’m excited to return this winter and spend some time working from this cozy cafe a little more.
Every time my husband and I visit Clásica Café, the owners are so friendly and we always feel welcomed.
They also have the Wifi password on a poster on the wall so it’s obvious they don’t mind you using the internet while you’re there. It’s a great spot to get some writing or work done while sipping one of their unique lattes. I tried the beet one last time and it was surprisingly tasty!
Clásica Café is located in Arroyo de la Miel so it’s a bit of an uphill climb from the beach. It’s perfect for getting a little workout in before you sit down to work. You could also take the bus.
