The Hendrick Boutique Hotel Dublin

The Hendrick opened in 2019 and is one of Dublin’s boutique hotels located right next to the popular Smithfield Plaza. It’s a great location because it’s just across the river from the Temple Bar area which can be noisy at night but still within walking distance to many of Dublin’s landmarks.

It has a nice lobby area and lounge, including a cool outdoor patio area. For more specific details, you can read more about my experience staying at The Hendrick Smithfield in Dublin.

The Wilder Townhouse

The Wilder Townhouse is located in a stunning red brick Victorian building that has been restored into a really unique boutique hotel in Dublin. It’s located right near the popular St Stephen’s Green park and it’s close to other Dublin landmarks and popular attractions.

It has the perfect mix of classic and traditional characteristics mixed with modern and contemporary design – including abstract artwork throughout the hotel, touches of velvet accent chairs, unique wallpaper accent walls and stunning herringbone hardwood floors.

Location: 22 Adelaide Rd. Dublin 2

Ruby Molly Boutique Hotel Dublin

Ruby Molly is another boutique hotel in Dublin. It has a large bar and restaurant area on the first floor that’s the perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring Dublin. The rooms are clean and well-designed. For more specific details, you can read more about my personal experience staying at Ruby Molly Boutique Hotel in Dublin.

The Alex

The Alex is another great option when it comes to boutique hotels in Dublin, Ireland. It has everything you’ve come to expect in boutique hotels with a few really nice bonuses. The beautifully designed rooms with luxurious dark green velvet accents are just the start. The lobby lounge, bar, restaurants (including one called ‘The Secret Garden’ which is absolutely stunning – when you see it, you’ll know what I mean) and even a cafe take things to another level and really set you up for an enjoyable stay. There’s even a co-working space in the lobby with long tables and individual lamps for getting some work done. This is perfect for remote work travellers.

Location: 41 – 47 Fenian St., Dublin 2

NYX Boutique Hotel

NYX Hotels has two locations in Dublin – Portobello and Christchurch.

NYX Hotel Portobello

NYX Hotel Portobello has an incredible funky vibe. There is unique art hung throughout the hotel and the rooms featuring accent walls with abstract art wallpaper, nice light fixtures, funky accent pillows. The rooms aren’t huge but many of them do look out at the Grand Canal for an iconic Dublin view.

One thing to note is that the location is a little bit outside of the main city centre. It’s still very walkable but I wanted to note that. It’s definitely quieter at night than the Temple Bar area which is a bonus.

NYX Hotel Christchurch

NYX Hotel Christchurch is located more in the city centre so if you’re looking to be where the action is, this location would be great. Just like their other location, NYX Hotel Christchurch is full of character and vibrant art in both the rooms and the restaurant and lounge area.

Hotel 7 Dublin

Hotel 7 is another great option for a boutique hotel in Dublin. This hotel is beaming with character. It’s located in a traditional brick building along Gardiner Row St. It has more of a classy and modern vibe to it than some of the other hotels we’ve featured above. Make sure you look up when you’re in this hotel because the instrument light fixtures are works of art all on their own.

Location: 7 Gardiner Row., Dublin

As you can see there are many great options when it comes to boutique hotels in Dublin, Ireland. Depending on what you’re looking for there’s some that are funky and some that have a more classic vibe to them – the choice is yours. Have a great trip!
