Málaga Local Vintage Bike Tour
We booked the City Highlights & Hidden Gems Vintage Bike Tour in Málaga. From the minute I saw the pale coloured green and blue vintage bikes, I knew I wanted a chance to ride them around Málaga.
The bikes themselves were well maintained and easy to use. Mine even has a basket so I could put my purse in it. I do recommend wrapping the straps of your purse/bag around the handles and then placing it in the basket. There were a few speed bumps I biked over and I felt like my bag could easily fall out.
Our tour guide for this Málaga bike tour was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the city. Even though we visit Málaga often, we saw so many parts of the city that we had never been to before which was great.
Like many cities in Europe, Málaga has a very interesting history and it was really neat to learn about it in between biking sessions. The actual biking parts were never longer than around 10 minutes at a time so you always get a break. The pace is slow and there aren’t any hills so you can relax and simply enjoy it.
There is one stop at the end of the tour to the oldest tavern in Málaga. It really is a highlight of this tour! You don’t have to buy anything but you can taste some of the wine (which comes straight from the barrels!) so make sure you bring some cash with you.
