Must-Visit Restaurants In Meaford Ontario
Meaford is such a great community and holds a special place on my cutest Ontario small towns list. If you’ve explore the area and you’re looking for somewhere to eat – perfect! I’m going to share a few great restaurants in Meaford with you below.

The Dam Pub
The Dam Pub is a great place if you’re craving traditional pub food like a burger or Scottish-inspired favourites like Shepherd’s Pie. They also have a few other unique options on their menu like Thai Curry.

If you happen to be a whisky connoisseur, you’ve just found your new favourite place. The owner and whisky expert, Stephanie Price, hosts whisky tastings and flight nights so make sure you check their events calendar to book, if that interests you.

When we visited, they were hosting a traditional music session which was really neat. A few people were sitting at a table and playing instruments. It was great!

A Few Things To Note:
- The Dam Pub only takes cash or debit so make sure you plan ahead for this
- I recommend calling to make reservations at: 226-662-2110
- They are closed Monday & Tuesday
Ted’s Range Road Diner
Ted’s Range Road Diner is one of those must-visit hidden gem restaurants in Meaford, Ontario. If you’re celebrating something or like to switch things up and try something new, Ted’s is an experience.
One major thing to note: You don’t go to Ted’s Range Road Diner for the decor or perfectly designed space. It’s in a Quonset that I assume almost everyone could agree needs a little ‘sprucing up’.

That being said, its rustic decor is part of what makes it such a unique experience. When your food arrives, your initial hesitation based on the look of the place will be gone. Trust me.

You go to Ted’s for the unique menu that includes items like Crocodile Schnitzel, Kangaroo Loin, and Wild Boar Chop. They also have traditional favourites like Chicken Parmesan, Pork Tenderloin, and Prime Rib. If you’d rather stick to traditional pub food, they’ve got that too.

Ted’s Range Road Diner has been in operation since 1987 and it’s a favourite among locals. Located just outside of Meaford on a scenic drive towards Irish Mountain Lookout. In the summer, they have a large patio area and it’s one of my favourite places to enjoy a meal.

Station 87 Kitchen & Bar: Meaford Restaurant
Station 87 is the latest addition to the Meaford restaurant scene and its a welcomed one.

It’s one of my favourite Ontario restaurants in an old fire hall and has a few different sections and menus to enjoy, depending on what you’re looking for.

They have four separate sections:
- The main level offers more of a pub vibe, including a traditional pub-style menu
- The upper level offers more of a sophisticated dining room and menu
- The rooftop patio is perfect for summer nights
- The marketplace is perfect for sitting in with a coffee and book or grabbing pasta sauce and some frozen meals to make at home

I’ll keep adding to this list of must-visit Meaford restaurants as I try more of them. I highly recommend adding Meaford to your next Ontario road trip.
