COLLINGWOOD ONTARIO BREWERIES

Side Launch Brewing Company

If you’ve driven from Collingwood’s downtown core toward Blue Mountain, you’ve likely driven right past Side Launch Brewing Company, without even knowing it. It’s located in an industrial building with huge windows, a large brewing area, taproom and lots of seating. The space (which is dog friendly) and the selection of beer is huge.

They host lots of different events throughout the week from trivia nights, live music, and games nights. In the summer they have a huge outdoor patio section as well.

Endswell Beer

My husband and I recently discovered Endswell Beer, one of the latest breweries to open in Collingwood. We can’t say enough great things about this small town Ontario brewery and we’re lucky enough to have visited a few times now. It’s definitely getting added to my list of recommendations and Collingwood Ontario local joys.

I enjoyed the Wonder Land Winter Ale 🙂

From the minute you walk in, you can tell the vibe is down-to-earth, cozy, and super friendly. The down-to-earth and cozy part likely has a lot to do with the old school furniture you’ll recognize from your grandparents house back in the day and fiber wall art decor of years past.

It’ll make you question why you ever got rid of the decor from your Grandma’s house. Somehow putting them all together in a cool brewery with large garage door and string lights makes all the difference.

Every single person we interacted with both as employees and local guests at Endswell were awesome. They’ve definitely done a great job at creating a community and welcoming place. It’s obvious from the minute you walk in.

I highly recommend checking out Endswell Beer if you want to experience Collingwood the way locals do. They have lots of beers to choose from and they’re super helpful in helping you find one you’ll love.

If that’s not enough…it gets better – you can order pizza from Later Pizza (a completely separate business operating within Endswell) and eat it at your table. Supporting two awesome local shops in one – yes, please!

Black Bellows

Black Bellows is another popular stop on the Collingwood Ontario brewery tour. Unfortunately, they’re currently closed as they transition the business to new owners.

Northwinds Brewhouse

Northwinds Brewhouse has two locations in Collingwood – one in the Blue Mountain Village and the other on First St. The restaurant/brewhouse location on first street is what you would expect for a mountain town pub. There are ski and snowboard videos playing on lots of TVs throughout the bar, lots of high top tables and places to sit all with a view of the beer tanks.

They have lots of different specials on throughout the week. I thoroughly enjoyed my smash burger which was the special on Tuesday nights. We got a table right away but I was surprised at how busy this Collingwood brewery and restaurant was on a Tuesday night.

The Collingwood Brewery

The Collingwood Brewery is another place you need to check out on your tour of Collingwood breweries. They have lots of seating, vibey string lights, weekly events, a heated patio, and a great atmosphere in general. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a craft beer with locals!
