Cat Café In Málaga, Spain: Perfect For Cat Lovers

My husband and I are cat obsessed so we often visit cat cafés when we travel for a fun activity. If you’re a cat lover and want to snuggle up with the cutest cats including a few gorgeous Maine Coons, I highly recommend visiting Paws For A Moment co-working & cat café in Málaga, Spain.

Paws For A Moment is the only cat café that exists (that I can find) in Málaga. The set-up for this café is different than any other one I’ve been in simply because it’s set-up to also be a co-working space. If you’re a digital nomad or have some work to get done, bring your laptop and settle in at one of the desks. You’ll likely have a cat in your lap in no time.

This is one of the cleanest and least smelly cat cafés I’ve ever been in. That was a major bonus.

If you’re local to Málaga and looking to adopt a cat they have a digital device on the wall called ‘Cat Tinder’. Unlike most cat cafés I’ve been to, the cats inside Paws For A Moment are their resident cats and aren’t up for adoption. What they do instead is allow you to use ‘Cat Tinder’ that operates like a dating app where you can ‘swipe’ and learn more about the cats that are available for adoption in the area. It’s a super cute idea and a great way to help more cats find loving homes.

They have lots of different sections in this Málaga cat café. There’s a large outdoor section, a fish tank that the cats can sit with their head in it and watch the fish – that was so adorable. They also have cat climbing trees and tunnels above.

The only thing that made this feel more like a co-working space rather than a full on cat café is that there aren’t many options for coffee or snacks. They only have a machine that will make a coffee for you.

This cat café also hosts events every month like yoga, quiz and movie nights, bingo, crochet classes, and more. These events would be a great activity to add to your ‘things to do in Málaga’ bucket list, especially for cat lovers.
